Raoul Pal Explains Why Ethereum Could Flip Bitcoin During This Bull Cycle

According to Raoul Pal, the founder and CEO of Real Vision, Ethereum (ETH) will become a larger digital asset by market capitalization than Bitcoin (BTC).
In an interview with Keith McCullough, Pal predicts that Ethereum could flip Bitcoin, already during this market bull cycle. Flippening refers to an asset reaching larger market cap than another.
Ethereum’s current market cap is sitting at $517 billion, almost a half of Bitcoin’s market cap, which is around $1.088 trillion at the time of writing.
The macro guru explains the logic behind the statement and explains how the two assets are different.
“They’re two entirely different things. One is this pristine collateral store-of-value asset. The other one is basically a technology platform that’s the fastest-growing on Earth. Is that [second one] going to be worth more? Yeah.
Now there is an argument that Bitcoin ends up becoming the monetary system for the entire world. But I’m not sure I’ll be alive when that happens. What I’m trying to make is make the best bet that I can do over the next few years, and that’s when I think the flippening will happen. Does it happen in this cycle? I think it might get there, and then that’s when the bear market starts.”
Just because Pal mega bullish on ETH doesn’t mean that he is not still bullish on Bitcoin. He estimates that BTC will grow from 150 million users to 1 billion users by 2024, and he says that he is very certain that Bitcoin will rise to $1 million in price.
Raoul Pal recently revealed his top 6 favorite crypto assets, which he believes will be the biggest winners based on the adoption speed.
