Digital Bank Daylight Raises $15M For LGBTQ+

Daylight, a digital banking software designed for the LGBTQ+ population in the United States, has secured $15 million in Series A investment led by Anthemis Group.

CMFG Ventures, Kapor Capital, Citi Ventures, and Gaingels participated in the funding round for Daylight, which claims itself as the first banking platform created to increase financial equity and inclusion for the 30 million-strong LGBTQ+ population in the United States.

Additionally, the business has revealed a new tool, Daylight Grow, to assist clients in preparing to create a family. The firm has created individualized programmes with reproductive, financial, and legal milestones based on location for individuals considering adoption, surrogacy, or bearing a kid.

Daylight also builds community support via online communities where potential parents may meet and a directory of approved family formation attorneys, fertility clinics, and surrogacy services.
