BNP Paribas is preparing for upcoming rule changes that will make electronic invoices mandatory in France by adding technology from vendor Libeo to its services for corporate customers.
From July 1, 2024, most business transactions in France will have to use e-invoices.
As a response, the lender is integrating the Libeo invoice management tool. This means that its customers can receive, manage, and pay invoices electronically.
They will also be able to get payments right away because BNP Paribas’ dedicated API will be built into Libeo.
Marc Espagnon, in charge of payments and cash management at BNP Paribas, says that the two companies are working together to help business owners stay efficient and competitive.
