SocGen & Lemonway Serve Corporate B2B Marketplaces Together

Societe Generale has made a deal with Lemonway to provide payment services to large companies in Western Europe that are starting up B2B marketplaces.
The partnership brings together Societe Generale’s services in cash management for large accounts and Lemonway’s skills in managing third-party payment services that follow the rules.
Leomonway’s modular package handles payments and other strategic services like verifying customers and opening payment accounts, balancing flows for beneficiaries, and keeping track of performance.
Alexandre Maymat, who works at Societe Generale and is in charge of global transaction and payment services, says:
“This partnership enables us to support our clients in their digital transformation, offering ever more complete and innovative payment services, in line with the specific needs of large corporates for their B2B marketplaces. It illustrates Societe Generale’s long-standing cooperative approach with fintech companies to provide innovative solutions for our clients.”
He says that the partnership will soon be put into place technically in eight European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
