Robinhood Launches Crypto On-Ramp to Improve Web3 Access

Robinhood’s latest functionality lets consumers bypass steps to reach and fund their accounts.

On Thursday, Robinhood Crypto general manager Johann Kerbrat announced the launch of Robinhood Connect, a crypto on-ramp that allows users to access and fund their web3 wallets without leaving DApps or logging in.

“We’ve continued to build new products that put the accessibility and usability of crypto front and center for customers, positioning Robinhood as the lowest cost, easiest to use on-ramp to crypto.”

Developers can immediately integrate the feature. Robinhood says Connect is supported on MyDoge Wallet, Giddy, and Slingshot and will be added to Phantom and Exodus.

Robinhood made its self-custodial crypto wallet available to iOS customers last month. The software will also be Android-compatible this year.
