Buy Now Global B2B Platform for Japanese Fashion Industry

Buy Now is globalizing its Japanese fashion B2B platform.
Buy Now announced that FORSEE CONNECT, formerly FORSEE, will connect Japanese designer companies with foreign shoppers.
“In the past, vendors interested in finding new designer items in Japan had limited options — they either had to attend joint exhibitions in their respective countries or travel to Japan to source products,” Buy Now said in the release. “Finding brands that matched their store’s sensibility and identifying marketable items each season was a challenging task that often consumed a significant amount of time.”
According to the release, the new FORSEE CONNECT B2B platform simplifies discovery, orders, and payments.
According to the announcement, the platform employs artificial intelligence (AI) to propose brands that best fit vendors’ demands from a large list of potential suppliers.
According to the statement, the platform uses its four years of experience in order and supply for Japanese fashion brands and more than 4,000 domestic vendors to safeguard foreign buyer transactions.
“By harnessing the power of technology, FORSEE is committed to building a new fashion industry brimming with creativity,” Buy Now said in the release. “It seeks to foster innovation, collaboration and connectivity within the industry, paving the way for a brighter future in fashion.”
Several additional internet platforms are fighting for B2B fashion business.
In January, fashion and apparel supply chain platform Showroom B2B secured $1.35 million in a seed round.
The Economic Times stated Jan. 11 that Showroom B2B has both physical “experience stores” where retailers can touch and feel the clothes and a digital app for placing purchases and getting discounts.
Fashion Cloud raised $26.6 million in December 2022 to expand internationally. Fashion Cloud served 600 brands and 20,000 shops throughout Europe.
