Mano Bank Partners with AMLYZE to Strengthen Its Technology Capabilities

Mano Bank (AB Mano bankas) has signed an agreement with Lithuanian RegTech company AMLYZE for a platform that will bring together customer risk assessment, transaction monitoring, customer and payment screening, and the management of related investigations. The partnership is another step in the bank’s technology development, aimed at keeping its processes efficient and reliable as its business grows.

Over the past several years, Mano Bank has been investing consistently in technology, process automation and a better customer experience. These investments include modernising its payments infrastructure, expanding digital services, improving customer self-service and streamlining internal processes. The partnership with AMLYZE continues this direction, with a stronger focus on technology for risk management and financial crime prevention.

Technology that supports the bank’s growth

Today the bank focuses on small and medium-sized businesses, which need financial services that are fast, clear and convenient in their day-to-day operations. As the bank broadens its range of services and expands its operations in foreign markets, so does the need to keep internal processes efficient and risk controls reliable and able to scale with growing volumes.

The AMLYZE platform will help the bank centrally manage and analyse AML/CFT-related information, automate some repetitive tasks and organise its specialists’ work more efficiently. Bringing this information together in a single environment will allow the bank to assess risks more quickly and make well-founded decisions while maintaining high compliance standards.

“As the bank grows rapidly, we want our services to become simpler and more convenient for our clients, and our risk management more effective. Regulatory requirements are an integral part of banking, but meeting them should not create unnecessary obstacles for clients. That is why we are investing in technology that helps us automate processes, identify risk more precisely and focus our specialists’ attention where it is really needed. Our partnership with AMLYZE will help us better balance these two goals – a convenient customer experience and effective risk management,” says Ernestas Šteimantas, Head of AML/CFT Operations and Control at Mano Bank.

According to Šteimantas, technology also matters for the customer experience. The bank continuously reviews client feedback and looks for ways to make financial services simpler, faster and more convenient, while ensuring effective risk management.

Technology built in Lithuania for the financial sector

Gabrielius Erikas Bilkštys, CEO and Co-Founder at AMLYZE, says the partnership with Mano Bank marks a significant stage in the company’s growth. He notes that Mano Bank stands out in Lithuania’s financial market for its history, having started out as a credit union before becoming the country’s first specialised bank.

“Financial institutions today face two equally important tasks: ensuring a smooth customer experience and managing financial crime risks effectively. Technology makes it possible to achieve both – by automating routine processes, analysing information in one environment and helping specialists make well-founded decisions faster. We are pleased to contribute to Mano Bank’s technology development,” says Bilkštys.
