Apple is making it possible for its Apple Cash digital card to be used for payments that happen regularly.
Apple Cash users will be able to set up payments to be made weekly, biweekly or monthly when iOS 17 comes out in the fall.
Apple says this will make it easier for parents to give kids cash or for people to pay back friends and family for things like rent that they pay together regularly.
Users can also choose to have their Apple Cash balance immediately topped up from a bank account they choose when it gets low.
