Biometric Cards Are Being Sent Out By Kuwait International Bank

Kuwait International Bank is the first bank to use technology from the Norwegian company Zwipe to sell a fingerprint payment card.
Under the Visa Infinite Black product, the card, which has a fingerprint reader to identify users, will be offered to VIP clients.
Deema Al Mulaifi, assistant GM, operations, KIB, says the card is “designed to provide convenience and ease of access with a high level of security against fraud attempts”.
Zwipe was started in 2009 and is based in Oslo. The technology has been tested with Fidor Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, Op Financial, and others.
