Crypto Venture Capitalist Predicts AI Machines To Dominate Blockchain Activity
A seasoned crypto venture predicts that artificial intelligence (AI) will quickly integrate into the cryptocurrency ecosystem and make up a significant portion of blockchain activity.
Chris Burniske, a crypto venture who invests in businesses and works with Placeholder Capital, used to study investments at ARK Invest. He thinks that “AI agents” will control crypto networks in the future. They must find ways to tell the difference between humans and AI on each web.
He claims he expects “stunning” growth in cryptocurrency driven by AI.
“In a few years, crypto network stats may have to segment between MAUs (monthly active users) and MAMs (monthly active machines) – people still don’t fully grasp what a perfect fit blockchains are for the financial needs of AI agents, but when it does click, the growth will stun us all.”
Additionally, according to Burniske (crypto venture), the currently operational bots on some chains are comparable to the “Neolithic age for humans, experimenting with early and basic tools.”
However, according to research published last week by the crypto intelligence business Kaiko, the subsector is experiencing a decline in trade volume compared to other digital asset classes, even as AI-related cryptocurrency projects have had healthy growth in 2023.
“AI-related tokens have been losing momentum, hitting lowest weekly trade volume since January.”
