SHIB’s Developers Will Launch A Beta Version Of Shibarium L2

Even though the developers didn’t give a specific release date, they were clear that “soon” was their answer to any worries about the time range.

SHIB, a layer-2 network that will run on top of the Ethereum mainnet, will soon be released in beta, as announced in a post by the creators of the dog-themed coin Shiba Inu.

Developers of SHIB provided information regarding layer-2 blockchains in the announcement. They emphasized that the goal of SHIB’s development is to give a platform that will enable the community to expand the project and realize the founder’s original intention. Although some people think that producing Shibarium is a strategy to drive up the price of memecoins, the creators made it clear that this wasn’t the intention. They penned:

“Patience is key, and some see Shibarium as a price-pumping tool, but that is not the project’s focus and never has been.”

Instead, the developers said that the new infrastructure upgrade would “revolutionize the Shiba ecosystem” by making it easier to make small transactions, making them faster, letting decentralized apps be made, and adding nonfungible tokens.

One of the most-wanted changes for the project, a burning mechanism for SHIB, is a vital part of the most recent update. The people who made the SHIB token say that all transactions on the network will have an implicit burn value for the token. This method will take place every time a transaction is carried out within the network.

Even though the developers didn’t give a specific release date, they were clear that “soon” was their answer to any worries about the time range.

Members of the Shiba Inu community expressed their enthusiasm for the new development. Some people think the ecosystem’s future has a lot of promise, while others are happy to read a new update on the project.

The creator of SHIB, Shytoshi Kusama, wrote on social media on November 22, 2022, that the World Economic Forum (WEF) had asked the project to help them develop a global plan for the metaverse. The project’s creator stressed that, if it happens, the initiative will work with other tech giants like Facebook and Decentraland to help the WEF make the policy.
