Finserv Messaging Platform LeapXpert Raises $22m

In a Series A+ funding round, led by Rockefeller Asset Management’s Technology Ventures Group, business communications company LeapXpert raised $22 million.

Existing investors as well as Uncorrelated Ventures and the Partnership Fund for New York City joined the round.

LeapXpert has built a communications platform that promises compliance, information security, and data governance. This is because financial services companies are getting in trouble with regulators for using apps like WhatsApp to communicate with clients.

Using LeapXpert, companies can give their employees a single corporate identity for business communication over iMessage, WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, WeChat, Signal, Line, and voice calls.

All of an employee’s business messages can be recorded, but their personal ones can’t be. In the meantime, clients talk to each other using their favorite messaging app. Microsoft Teams is also built right into the platform.

Dima Gutzeit, CEO, LeapXpert, says:

“Our goal is to set the global standard for responsible and flexible employee-customer communications, and with this funding, we are one step closer to achieving our vision.”
