French Payment Companies Synalcom And Qori Join Forces

French payment companies Synalcom and Qori are joining forces to make a new company called Sylq. This new company, which will offer an all-in-one payments platform for merchants, is called Sylq.
With more than 20,000 business customers, Synalcom is one of France’s largest electronic payment providers. This deal brings together Synalcom and Qori, a smaller and younger mobile-first startup.
Sylq will give businesses an integrated payment service that lets them buy things with cards, bank transfers, and cryptocurrencies on any payment terminal or Android or iOS device. It will also let people pay from a distance and online. The new company will sell, customize, support, and take care of terminals all over Europe.
Tony Delalande, who started Synalcom and is now Sylq’s president, says:
“Sylq will revolutionise the European payments landscape, directly challenging Adyen and Stripe.”
Daniel Maurice-Vallerey, who helped start Qori and is now the CEO of Sylq, says:
“As a cutting edge payments leader Sylq has the technology, client base, financial strength and leadership expertise to provide a unique offering to European merchants with unparalleled flexibility.”
