Gemini, British Crypto Exchange, Releases Their ETH Staking Pro Product

Gemini will pay back Staking Pro clients whose assets are cut because of fees from the network.

Gemini, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has stated that its Ethereum (ETH) staking program is now available in the UK. The product, called Gemini Staking Pro, will let companies and people with a lot of money run validators on the Ethereum blockchain.

The change fits in with Gemini’s plans to grow, since the staking program is already running in over 30 countries, including the United States (except for New York), Hong Kong, Brazil, Singapore, and Australia.

With the crypto staking product, Gemini users with 32 ETH or more will be able to run dedicated validator nodes on Ethereum through the exchange’s web user interface while the company plans for the coming in-app support.

The crypto trading platform run by the Winklevoss twins has promised to reimburse Staking Pro clients whose assets are cut as network-imposed penalties. This is because the platform thinks that these clients may not have enough technical knowledge and make “small mistakes” during the staking process.

“At Gemini, we simplify the staking process for you. With Gemini operating the validator nodes, users can stake their assets with more confidence and without the technical know-hows. In fact, Gemini will reimburse you for certain penalties imposed in connection with staking. It’s the best of both worlds – the benefit of decentralization with the power of Gemini,” the exchange said.

Gemini said that the only thing customers need to do to use the Staking Pro product is hold or buy at least 32 ETH.
