Mysten Labs a Web3 Startup Joined by Sina Nader Former FTX US Head of Partnerships
Mysten Labs has endorsed from a16z crypto, Apollo and others, before joining Mysten Labs Nader operated at Robinhood, Morgan Stanley.
Former head of FTX US partnerships, Sina Nader, is conjoining Web3 startup Mysten Labs as chief of strategy.
Nader would be disclosing directly to Evan Cheng, Chief Executive Officer. California based Mysten, Palo Alto was established by Cheng and other former employees of a social media Platform formerly called Facebook, the Meta Platforms Inc.
Mysten Labs created infrastructure that tries to find ways to make the progressively more decentralized web safe and trustworthy to use. It has been assisted by a16z crypto, Apollo and Coinbase Ventures, among others. Crypto exchange FTX head, Sam Bankman-Fried, before its collapse, conducted one of Mysten’s funding rounds in 2022.
Nader, wo conjoined FTX US in august 2020. Had prior to that worked as chief of crypto at Robinhood. And before conjoining Robinhood in 2019, he served at Morgan Stanley along with Credit Suisse Group AG’s private banking unit.
They have done some magnificent work that is ultra extensible, and they are searching for blockchain technology in a divergent way than most, Nader said of Mysten. Regarding his mandate, he will be adding all the knowledge he has obtained since entering cryptocurrency market in different forms since 2013. Further he added, he will heavily rely on his experience at Robinhood as well as at FTX.
Nader said that he was supporting many of the huge branding agreements that FTX had settled, consisting of celebrity and sports partnerships, besides business deals with social media firms and others. He will be based in Silicon Valley for his fresh role, disclosed by Bloomberg.
The collapse of FTX marked one of most significant events previous year that had curl effects surpassed the cryptocurrencies world. Everyday dealers missed billions of dollars on a platform that had once been considered as brand of the market. Multiple pricks, and noticeable allegations have surfaced involving Bankman-Fried.
Other ex-FTX execs have also been landing fresh roles in latest days. Zhe Constance Wang, who had worked in various executive level positions at the exchange, currently conjoined crypto venture capital company Sino Global Capital, Bloomberg broadcasted.
Meanwhile, Brett Harrison, former FTX US President initiated Architect Financial Technologies, which points to give institutional grade dealing software to polished individual shareholders. Harison had formerly observed on Twitter that he had difficulty in fostering funds for the fresh company because shareholders inquired that whether they should support a former FTX US executive.
Nader said he had a different experience.
“It’s really nice to see that people have recognized very quickly that otherwise decent people can end up in situations where there’s unfortunate things that happen,” he said. “The smarter, the sharper, the more astute of an observer someone is the more they realize that, OK, there may have been some unfortunate things that happened there, but one can still learn a lot and there are many tools and experiences that one can pick up along the way that are directly applicable elsewhere,” Bloomberg reported.
