Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Is BTC Bag Holder Despite May Conference Speech

Unexpectedly, in an exciting twist, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, a promising presidential candidate, secured attendees at a conference in May that he had no stake in Bitcoin. Yet, recent documents from June reveal his surprising involvement and investment in cryptocurrency.

According to a report from CNBC, Democratic U.S. presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a statement to attendees at a conference in Miami back in May, declaring that he had no stake in Bitcoin. However, surprising revelations appeared in June through financial documents, revealing that Kennedy held a significant Bitcoin investment.

According to recently filed financial documents on June 30, it has been shown that the nephew of former president John F. Kennedy holds a notable Bitcoin investment ranging between $100,001 and $250,000 within a brokerage account. The revelation follows a significant development where the presidential candidate had a pro-Bitcoin speech at the Bitcoin Miami event. A representative for the candidate confirmed CNBC that the investment was made after the address and highlighted that it does not pose any conflicts of interest.

CNBC highlighted his advocacy that Kennedy’s support for Bitcoin has not gone unnoticed, with for the cryptocurrency. In a tweet, he expressed his belief that Bitcoin safeguards against totalitarianism and manipulating our monetary system. He also sees Bitcoin as a guiding light toward a future where government institutions embrace clarity and foster a more democratic environment.

Initially, Kennedy’s campaign told CNBC that the Bitcoin investment belonged to his wife Cheryl Hines, a former actress on the popular show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Yet, they later explained and confirmed that the presidential candidate owned the investment.

Kennedy is among candidates supporting cryptocurrency, with Republican Senator Ted Cruz and other potential presidential candidates such as Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
