Starling Bank Drops £2 Fees For Personal, Joint, And Business Accounts

Bank is also cutting the £60 fee it previously assessed for replacing a card lost abroad to only £10.

In the coming weeks, Starling Bank will no longer levy fees to clients with multiple bank accounts.

According to a change made to Starling’s terms and conditions, the bank would no longer charge £2 per month for additional GBP on personal, joint, and business accounts.

Sunday night, Starling emailed its clients to inform them of the new terms and conditions, which will go into effect on November 21.

Starling has also eliminated the £60 one-time fee it previously assessed for changing a debit card abroad; this fee will soon be lowered to £10.

“We know how stressful it can be to lose your card when you’re abroad. So to make things easier, we’ve reduced the fee for sending a replacement card,” the bank explained.

Although the changes may look small, the elimination of additional costs for business accounts is important. Numerous businesses have numerous accounts to manage their cash flow, payroll, and payment tracking.

Unfortunately, Starling only allows limited corporations to register numerous business accounts at this time; single proprietors are prohibited from creating extra accounts.
