Ten New Members Join The Fintech Cost-Of-Living Coalition

Ten additional companies have joined the alliance of fintechs founded by Zopa bank to address the UK cost-of-living problem, including Google Cloud and Hargreaves Lansdown.

The 2025 Fintech Pledge, which was first launched by Zopa bank and ClearScore, links customers to fintech services that help people save more, raise credit scores, consolidate debt, and pay less for utilities.

The coalition wants to help the 20% of people in the UK who are struggling to make ends meet due to a combination of rising interest rates, inflationary pressures, and skyrocketing energy costs. One in four individuals are now experiencing financial problems or are on the verge of doing so.

CreditLadder, a tool for rent reporting, Google Cloud, Hargreaves Lansdown, Koodoo, a financial health app, Nude, a platform for building house deposits, Snoop, StepLadder, and Tandem Bank are some of the newest signatories to the promise.

The Money Charity has joined as the primary Charity Partner as a result of the membership growth. The Money Charity touches 30,000 individuals directly via workshops and webinars each year, in addition to thousands more through the tools and services available on its website.

Jaidev Janardana, CEO at Zopa Bank says: “With the UK facing an unprecedented cost-of-living crisis, households need to use every tool at their disposal to build long-term financial resilience. This industry pledge – the first of its kind – will unite a wide variety of companies in one goal of driving positive financial actions for millions living in the UK.”
