Twitter Account of Aptos Foundation Is Hacked To Promote Fake Airdrop

Twitter account of an Aptos Foundation has been hacked with the aim to promote fake airdrop.

A twitter account associated with the Aptos Foundation has been hacked by those oversee directing people to a forged website that provides the chance to participate in a fake airdrop.

The references of an airdrop on Ethereum blockchain found in the fraudulent post. The twitter account of the Aptos CEO Mo Shaikh’s also seems to be hacked as part of the scam attempt.

Aptos labs immediately posted a warning to Twitter, informing people not to engage with the link that leads to a persuasive, but fake website where customers are compelled to click a ‘claim’ button which then give a QR code anticipated at fishing people into connecting their wallets.

A latest tweet by the Aptos Foundation said that they get official communication from Aptos Foundation that Aptos Network has been jeopardized. The latest post about APT airdrop is fraudulent. Please do not captivate with that post or the link given.
