Two Argentinian Banks Add Support On Their Platforms For Crypto Trading

Banco Galicia, the largest Argentinian private bank, confirmed that it will allow its users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. The digital bank Brubank announced that it has followed the same tracks.

Banco Galicia Adds Crypto As New Investment Options

Banco Galicia, confirmed the ‘new investment options,’ on Twitter. The bank has added a feature within the investment section of its mobile application for users to acquire a selection of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), stablecoin USDC and XRP.

Banco Galicia will be working with crypto infrastructure company, Lirium, to rollout these new investment instruments. Lirium enables banks and digital wallets to buy, sell, send, and receive cryptocurrencies.

Brubank Follows

Just few hours after Banco Galicia’s announcement, Brubank tweeted that it has also added crypto trading functionality to the investment part of its website. 

“Yes, we already have crypto! It is a functionality that is being progressively enabled for all our users. When you have it enabled you will be able to view it by entering ‘Investments’ from the app.”

Brubank is offering Bitcoin and Ethereum trading, as well as the stablecoins USDC and DAI.
