Binance Will Launch Three Crypto Education Initiatives In India

Leading crypto exchange Binance announced the launch of three educational initiatives to support to educate Indian investors and students about cryptocurrency and the blockchain ecosystem.

According to Binance, Indian regulators and policymakers view the lack of crypto education as an area of concern as it prevents people from adopting crypto.

One of the three education initiatives is aimed for students and titled “Blockchain for Good.” This platform will give students the chance to come up with solutions for making crypto more accessible and inclusive.

The second initiative is a free webinar that will be hosted by crypto influencers like Kashif Raza, Neha Nagar, and Aditya Saini. It will focus on teaching the basic concepts of blockchain and crypto while demystifying myths related to crypto.

According to the founder of Bitinning, Kashif Raza, “the biggest roadblock in the current crypto education system is that there are not enough platforms providing education in a simplified manner.”

The third initiative is planned as a learn-to-earn program that will allow people to earn crypto all while learning about the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. According to the head of APAC at Binance, Leon Foong, the crypto exchange aims “to create the right incentives for users to do more thorough research and make better-informed investment decisions.”

Binance has partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) – a top-tier university – as a title sponsor for its cultural fest Rendezvous. The fest will showcase use cases which includes non-fungible token (NFTs) tickets and certificates as well as proof-of-attendance protocol (POAP).
