LUNA 2.0 Sees A Volatile First Trading Day Between $0.5 And $30

The first 24 hours have a been a rollercoaster for LUNA following the launch of Terra 2.0 as its price pumped massively and then plummeted.

Following the successful launch of the Terra 2.0 protocol yesterday, LUNA is now live and trading on several exchanges. However, the first 24 hours of trading turned out to be quite a ride, as the price fluctuated on a wide range.

For example on Bybit, the price started at $0.5 and skyrocketed up to $30 in a matter of minutes.

Shortly after, it started falling and dumped all the way to around $4 before stabilizing at $6. At the time of writing, LUNA trades at $5.77.

There has been price variation between different exchanges, and that’s largely attributed to the trading volume.

According to CoinMarketCap LUNA’s trading volume in the past 24 hours stands at $147 million at the time of writing. Nearly half of that comes from KuCoin.

Additionally, the largest crypto exchange by trading volume – Binance – has still to launch LUNA trading, which is set to start on May 31st.

Yesterday, Terra 2.0 launched with the support of many platforms. LUNA holders have already started receiving their airdrop.
