Ukraine Govt’s Airdrop Tweet Triggers A Spike In ETH Donations
Ukraine’s official Twitter account announced an “airdrop” Thursday morning, which seems to have triggered a new influx of donations.
Dune Analytics’ data showed the accumulation of ETH to Ukraine, which jumped in the early hours of March 2, coinciding with Ukraine’s post on the matter.

So far over $11 million worth of ETH has been donated to the government’s address, as well as nearly $10 million worth of BTC. Donations have also been collected in the form of TRX, DOT and other crypto assets.
Polkadot Founder, Gavin Wood, is among the contributors by donating over $5 million worth of DOT. The authorities said they are “forever grateful” to him, hinting at a possible airdrop in the near future.
