You Can Ensure The Safety Of Your Funds With SushiSwap

Because of a bug in the smart contract of the popular decentralised exchange SushiSwap, about $3.3 million in Ethereum was stolen (ETH).

The crypto analytics company PeckShield says that the bug is related to the process of approving contracts and is related to a change that was made a few weeks ago.

A well-known crypto trader named Sifu had about 1,800 ETH stolen because of a bug.

SushiSwap says they are doing everything they can to get the money back, if they can.

The team has given traders a link they can use to check their accounts and, if necessary, remove any permissions.

Matthew Lilley, the CTO of SushiSwap, says that the exchange is up and running and has no bugs right now.

“There is no risk at this time with using Sushi Protocol, and the UI. All exposure to RouterProcessor2 has been removed from the front end, and all LPing / current swap activity is safe to do.

We do ask that all users double-check their approvals, and if an address within this list below has an allowance for any of your tokens to please unapprove as soon as you can.”
