AI Tools Releases By Lighting Labs To Transact And Hold Bitcoin

On the lighting network AI tools like ChatGPT would  soon be able to buy, sell and use Bitcoin.

Lighting labs, a Bitcoin Lighting Network development firm, revealed a new set of modules for artificial intelligence to send and receive Bitcoin on the network’s layer-2 solution.

On July 6, Lightning Labs declared the modules which would enables the AI applications like OpenAI’s ChatGPT to link with the Bitcoin network to send, receive and hold cryptocurrencies.

This step is to help make payments easier, cheaper, and faster for AI developers, who would be able to keep themselves away from traditional and often prohibitive payment fence while also allowing pay-per-use AI tools on lighting.

Large language models are software applications developed on the scale data set allows them to create human-like replies to customers instructions and conduct other tasks. Lighting labs said, they’re extremely excited about the new wave of innovation brought about with the latest wave of LLM models.

Lighting labs described the modules are built on the L402 protocol, which is a lighting innate authentication mechanism. It also applies Longchain, library used to make the operations easy with AI applications.

The lighting labs team said that the tool we are going to launch today, will enable the developers to build more reasonable AI infrastructure for both humans and agents alike.

The lighting labs team also recognize the problem with current LLMs, which lack innate web-based payment mechanisms. AI application developers are e3nforced to depend on dated payment system like credit cards with the extra expense passed on to users, it declared.

Moreover, they noted that a new rapid growth in class of intelligent LLM or AI agents are not able to easily gain passage to fiat system of payments as they are not registered bodies with any nation.

Kody Low, developer at the community payments platform Fedi, commented on interactivity among AI and BTC while speaking to Stack Sats podcast on July 6:

“AI is one of those things where there is absolutely no better solution anywhere in the world than Bitcoin, and AI companies have not yet solved their monetization problems.”

In accordance with the data from Lighting Network analytics platform 1ML, its ongoing capacity is around $163.5 million. Bitcoin visuals has announced the number of channels the lighting labs have over past years, were around 80000 in 2022 and around 70000 currently.
