The National Trust And Starling Bank Sign A 3-Year Partnership

Starling Bank has been doing more marketing and partnerships, especially in sports, in recent years. It’s now about protecting nature and making it easier to get to.

The National Trust and Starling Bank have signed a contract for three years.

The neo bank, which sponsored the Women’s 2022 Euros football tournament, will help the National Trust restore peatlands and pay for a project to help children and young people learn more about the natural world.

This will include the group’s “Summer of Play” project, which will happen at 157 sites. Nature lessons will be held for a total of 6,000 school children, with a focus on those who live in cities and get free school meals.

As part of the deal, Starling Bank’s refer-a-friend programme will give free day passes to National Trust places.

The National Trust is in charge of more than 250,000 hectares of the UK’s countryside, 780 miles of coastline, and 500 historic properties, gardens, and nature areas.Last year, 20 million people went there and 5.7 million people joined.

“Starling Bank is committed to doing its part in looking after the planet, from sustainable packaging and recycled debit cards, to having eco-friendly offices,” said Rachel Kerrone, brand and marketing director at Starling Bank.

“We’re on a mission to carbon neutrality, and our partnership with the National Trust means we can invest in more sustainability projects across the UK, such as restoring peat – one of the most important terrestrial carbon stores,” she added.
