Brazilian Nubank Is Creating Its Own Cryptocurrency NuCoin

The massive Brazilian digital bank Nubank is creating Nucoin, its own cryptocurrency, for its millions of clients.

When a rewards programme is introduced the following year, the 70 million clients of the bank will get the Nucoin token for free in exchange for discounts and other benefits.

But according to Nubank, the company also hopes to see Nucoins sold on the cryptocurrency market in the future.

In order to contribute to the development of the coin, which is being constructed on the Polygon network, the bank is asking 2000 clients to join a discussion group.

According to a Nubank site blog, “With Nucoin, we want to further democratize new technologies such blockchain and web3.”
