In a move set to redefine digital experiences across Africa, Orange, a global telecommunications giant, has introduced its groundbreaking super-app, Max It. This innovative application, meticulously developed by Orange’s African teams, promises to simplify daily activities for more than 22 million users and beyond. Max It ingeniously combines telecommunications, financial services, and e-commerce, culminating in a one-stop shop that caters to users’ diverse daily needs.

Max It is a comprehensive “super-app” meticulously crafted to serve as a portal for mobile services, seamlessly accommodating Orange customers and non-customers across the continent. The app seamlessly integrates three pivotal services into a single, user-friendly interface:

  1. Account Functionalities: Max It empowers users to manage mobile and fixed lines effortlessly, enhancing their overall digital experience.
  2. Orange Money Services: The app seamlessly incorporates the full suite of Orange Money services, including local and international money transfers, payments to partners, bank transfers, credit, and savings.
  3. E-commerce Platform: Max It features an expansive e-commerce platform offering various digital content such as online games, music, TV, videos, and news, along with an innovative digital ticketing service for events like concerts and transport.

Accessibility and Inclusivity at the Core

Max It has been meticulously designed to be accessible to everyone, irrespective of their telecom operator. While Orange Money is the payment base, the app also accepts other payment solutions, enhancing flexibility. Available in multiple languages, Max It incorporates local specificities to ensure inclusivity and meet the diverse needs of users in their daily lives.

Orange envisions a staggering 45 million active Max It users by 2025, capitalising on the growing smartphone adoption rate, which is expected to reach 61% of connected customers in the region. The first iteration of Max It is already available in five African countries, including Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Botswana.
